Anna Grace Nwosu is a ceramic artist living and working in San Francisco, California. Her vessels are shaped by ancient and modern ceramic traditions, recontextualized within the contemporary world, balancing the scales of art history and human experience. Her forms juxtapose quiet, rhythmic symmetry and bold ornamentation. As functional as they are sculptural, each piece is created with the lived environment in mind. She is inspired by antiquities of all kinds, myth and magic, the interior world, and traditional storytelling.
